The moments have turned to days, and the days have strung loosely together to form weeks, and I struggle to comprehend how it has been a month already!
Levi continues to impress the medical staff here at the IWK with his grit and determination. He is focused on getting stronger and ready for whats next. Speaking of, Uncle Matt isn’t the only one that’s been keeping secrets (insert ruthless concert plug here - BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW! https://620e72-03.myshopify.com/products/holy-whale-boogie-by-the-bore), Levi is scheduled to head to the Stan Cassidy Rehabilitation Centre in Fredericton early next week!! Though we are nervous for the change we are excited to turn the focus from his medical needs to seeing what this next leg of the journey has to offer.
Sitting here watching my son fight so hard has brought a new perspective and appreciation for this life. Even in the midst of this, I go to bed each night grateful for the time that I had with my family. Please hug those close to you and tell someone how much they mean to you today, don’t delay!!
